We see miracles happen everyday at Domestic Abuse Services Oxford!
- The miracle of a woman and her two children arriving – safe and alive – in the middle of the night;
- The miracle of a baby born, healthy and safe, soon after his mother came to us after being severely assaulted;
- The miracle of a 78-year old woman, a victim of elder abuse, who was left homeless after the death of her husband.
All found safety and refuge at Domestic Abuse Services Oxford. We are always open, always ready to help. Since opening our doors in 1974, we have provided protection in our high security 21-bed shelter while opening the door to prevention and possibilities for more than 15,000 women, children and adolescents impacted by domestic abuse and/or homelessness. DASO is a non-profit registered charity dedicated to providing essential programs and services to the families of Oxford County.
We have been working to change lives for more than 40 years! We are grateful to our many friends and supporters in the community. You have been our partners in helping miracles happen and we are truly appreciative that you have chosen DASO as the benefactor of your generosity. You have made a difference in the lives of many women, children and teens in Oxford County. Is there a gift more precious than that of a life without violence?
