Reducing costs through donations helps ensure we can continue to offer our essential services to women, children and teens impacted by gender-based violence.

What’s the best way to help DASO?

Monetary donations – cash, cheque or via credit card – help us fund the areas within our operating budget where we need your help the most.

  • All amounts are welcome and eligible for charitable tax receipts. The donor’s name and mailing
    address are needed to process the receipt.

Wish List items

Our Wish List is updated regularly (so check back often!) and includes giving options for every budget. Whether you make an individual donation, or join together with family members, co-workers or friends, your contribution has the power to change many lives for the better and is most appreciated.

We are often single-staffed and may be supporting a woman in the office or on the phone. If you require assistance with your donation, please call ahead and make an appointment at 519-539-4811. If we are unable to greet you, please do not forget to sign our Donation Book located inside the first set of doors on the righthand side.

Donations may also be made through our Amazon Wish List. Items you select and purchase on behalf of DASO will be shipped directly to our Woodstock shelter (when you get to the delivery page on Amazon, please have the items delivered to 975 James Street, Woodstock ON  N4S 0A5).

All purchases – no matter the size or total value – will be appreciated.
